Dawn Plitzuweit's Gophers continued their impressive start to the season with a dominant 84-31 win over CSUN at Williams Arena on Wednesday.

The Gophers moved to 4-1 on the season – the only loss being to the Paige Bueckers-led UConn – with a defensive masterclass against the Matadors.

Sophomore Mara Braun top scored with 21 on a night that four players hit double figures, including 13 points from Sophie Hart who was 6-of-6.

Meanwhile CSUN couldn't make the baskets fall, with the Gophers limiting them to just 5.9% from three point range and 25.5% from the floor.

Next up for the Gophers is Stony Brook, who visit The Barn at 2 p.m. Sunday.
