The Minnesota Golden Gophers are the No. 2 overall seed in the NCAA women's hockey tournament. The bracket was revealed Sunday morning on the tournament selection show. 

Minnesota has a bye to the second round, where they will face the winner of Minnesota-Duluth and Clarkson at 2 p.m. on Saturday March 11. UMD and Clarkson play Thursday, March 9 at Ridder Arena in Minneapolis. 

Ohio State earned the No. 1 overall seed. The No. 3 seed went to Colgate while Yale and Northeastern were selected as the No. 4 and No. 5 seeds, respectively.

If the Gophers advance to the Frozen Four, they will face Colgate, Wisconsin or Long island University. This years Frozen Four will be held March 17-19 at Amsoil Arena in Duluth, Minnesota.
