A star high school athlete in Minnesota committing to play college sports for the Wisconsin Badgers is all too common, but a Wisconsin native going west to play for the Gophers doesn't seem nearly as common. But the Gophers struck gold with four-star offensive lineman Nathan Roy committing on Saturday.

He had also received offers from football powers Ohio State, USC, Wisconsin, Tennessee and more.

Roy's brother, Benjamin, is an offensive lineman at UCLA.
