The Michigan Wolverines took the lead against the Minnesota Golden Gophers just two plays into Saturday's primetime game, and coach Jim Harbaugh couldn't help but get involved.

Will Johnson intercepted Athan Kaliakmanis and returned it for a touchdown on 2nd-and-10, with Harbaugh quickly joining his team for a photo freeze-frame in the end zone.

It proved the perfect start for the Wolverines on NBC, with the Gophers suffering a huge blow to their hopes to pull off a prime time shock.

Harbaugh was almost a Twin Cities resident in 2022. He interviewed for and was heavily linked with become the Minnesota Vikings' new head coach, before the Vikings ultimately opted for Kevin O'Connell.
