Nubin joins Darius Taylor II and Zach Evans as Gophers running backs to win weekly conference awards this season. Evans and Taylor didn't play against the Spartans due to injuries, which opened the door for Nubin to carry the ball 40 times for 204 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Nubin joins is brother, Minnesota safety Tyler Nubin, among a group of five Gophers who have combined to win nine Big Ten weekly awards in 2023.
