Lynx sign former top-10 pick Courtney Williams

The Lynx continued their roster overhaul Wednesday by signing free agent guard Courtney Williams to a two-year deal.
The move, first reported by Khristina Williams of Girls Talk Sports TV, continues Minnesota's work on the backcourt after trading for point guard Natisha Hiedeman earlier Wednesday.

The 29-year-old guard averaged 10.4 points, 6.3 assists and 6.0 rebounds per game for the Chicago Sky in 2023. She will be entering her ninth season in the WNBA and playing for her fourth team in as many years.
Williams was an All-Star in 2021 when she averaged 16.5 points and 6.8 rebounds per game for the Atlanta Dream. She was drafted eighth overall in 2016 by Phoenix but only played six games for the Mercury before being traded to the Connecticut Sun.
