Diamond Miller, the second overall pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft, is going to miss a decent chunk of time as she recovers from a sprained ankle.

The Lynx announced Friday that an MRI confirmed the ankle injury and that Miller "will be reevaluated in the following weeks and further updates will be issued when available."

Miller is averaging 10.4 points on just 36.6% shooting through five games as a pro. She suffered the ankle injury in Minnesota's loss to Dallas on Tuesday, which was on track to be a breakout game for the high-profile rookie. Miller had 8 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in just 12 minutes when she turned her ankle.

At 0-6, the Lynx are in last place in the WNBA. The only other team without a win is Seattle, though they've played only three games. Minnesota is back in action Saturday against Washington.
