The final high school tournament of the winter season will take place next week as the 2023 boys' state basketball tournament will begin on Tuesday.

This year's tournament will be played at Target Center and Williams Arena as Minnesota looks to crown a new set of state champions.

Here's a look at this year's first round matchups, which were released on Saturday morning.

Class A – Mar. 22 at Williams Arena

  • 11 a.m. – No. 1 Russell-Tyler-Ruthton vs. Nevis
  • 1 p.m. – No. 4 Cherry vs. No. 5 Border West
  • 3 p.m. – No. 2 New Life Academy vs. Sacred Heart
  • 5 p.m. – No. 3 Spring Grove vs. Mankato Loyola

Class AA – Mar. 21

  • 6 p.m. – No. 1 Holy Family vs. Eden Valley-Watkins (Target Center)
  • 8 p.m. – No. 4 Maple River vs. No. 5 Minnehaha Academy (Target Center)
  • 6 p.m. – No. 2 Albany vs. Pequot Lakes (Williams Arena)
  • 8 p.m. – No. 3 Plainview-Elgin-Millville vs. Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (Williams Arena)

Class AAA – Mar. 21 at Williams Arena

  • 10 a.m. – No. 1 Totino-Grace vs. St. Francis
  • 12 p.m. – No. 4 Mankato East vs. No. 5 Alexandria
  • 2 p.m. – No. 2 Orono vs. Hermantown
