The teams haven't confirmed it just yet, but ESPN's Adam Schefter says the Packers and Jets have agreed to a trade that sends future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers to New York.

The deal, long thought to be just a matter of time before happening, is reportedly done three days before the first round of the NFL Draft – and picks in this year''s draft are involved in the deal.

Schefter says the deal will send Rodgers and the No. 15 and No. 170 (fifth round) picks in this year's draft to the Jets, while the Packers will receive the No. 13 pick, a second-round selection (42nd overall) and a sixth-round pick (No. 2017), along with a 2024 second-round pick that upgrades to a first-round pick if Rodgers plays at least 65% of the snaps next season.

Rodgers is now (almost) officially out of the NFC North, opening the door for either Jordan Love to continue a dominant three decades by the Packers – or the Lions, Bears or Vikings, who won the division last season with a 13-4 record.
