Anthony Edwards answers Draymond Green's 'What you gonna do about it?'

What did he do about it? Eight points in 1 minute, 12 seconds. That's what.

Draymond Green's gamesmanship was on full display Sunday night and Anthony Edwards was up to the challenge.

"Get the f*** out of here," Green said after fouling Edwards with 5:25 left in the fourth quarter in front of a packed Chase Center in San Francisco. Whatever Edwards said in response as he walked to the free-throw line it drew a response from the four-time NBA champ: "What you gonna do about it?"

Edwards, with sweat dripping from his face, calmly knocked down both free throws to extend the lead to 100-86. That was just the beginning of Edwards' answer to Green's question.

With 2:28 to go Edwards drew a foul on a drive to the basket and made both free throws. Fifteen seconds later Edwards scored again. Thirty-three seconds after that Edwards made a difficult turnaround jumper in the paint look effortless. Swish. Twenty-four seconds later Edwards hit another tough shot.

What did he do about it? Eight points in 1 minute, 12 seconds. That's what.

Don't get it twisted, Green's constant trash talk is part of what's made him a core member of the Warriors dynasty. But he definitely respects Edwards. In 2022, Green applauded Edwards' "irrational confidence."

"He says whatever the hell comes to his mind, which I can appreciate," Green said on The Draymond Green Show. "He’s funny, charismatic, and did you see Hustle? Like, he got it. He just got it. Like some people just got it. Like, he got it."

The gamesmanship between Green and Edwards is what will make Tuesday's rematch in San Francisco – a game that is part of the NBA's In-Season Tournament – even more exciting.
