Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards will be one of five NBA players featured in a new NBA documentary from Netflix.

The series, which has already started filming, will reportedly be modeled after Netflix's Quarterback documentary that featured the Vikings' Kirk Cousins. Quarterback, released July of 2023 (read our review here), followed three NFL quarterbacks throughout the 2022 season.

The NBA series will follow around Edwards along with the Lakers' LeBron James, Boston's Jason Tatum, the Heat's Jimmy Butler, and Sacramento's Domantas Sabonis.

James' SpringHill production company is partnering with former President Barack Obama's High Ground Productions and Peyton Manning's Omaha Productions to produce the series for Netflix. Omaha Production was the producer for the first season of Quarterback.

The name and premier date for the series are unknown at this time.
