Anthony Edwards is calling his shot.

The young Wolves star is focused on a third straight trip to the NBA playoffs and wants the Golden State Warriors.

When asked by Heir Company, a social media app, what he's looking forward to most this upcoming season, Edwards said, "Definitely going back to the playoffs and going further in the playoffs. I want to play the Warriors. I want to get to the Warriors. Wherever they are at, I want to get to them."

It's a bold statement considering the Warriors have four titles in the past eight seasons and just added Chris Paul to the roster to play alongside Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and the guy Edwards apparently wants a piece of, Draymond Green.

"I mean, because Draymond talks so much trash," Edwards said when asked why he wants Golden State. "That's pretty much the only reason."

The Wolves guard averaged 31.6 points, 5.2 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game in Minnesota's first round loss to the Nuggets in last season's playoffs. Edwards has averaged 22.7 points, 3.8 assists and 4.4 rebounds in 10 games against Golden State in his career.

Edwards will participate in the FIBA World Cup with Team USA before the NBA season starts in late October.
