Bucks spoil Chris Finch's Timberwolves debut
The first game of the Chris Finch era did not go well for the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday night as they fell to the Milwaukee Bucks by a score of 139-112.
Finch was making his debut after replacing Ryan Saunders on Sunday night and the Timberwolves responded with a strong first quarter. With Minnesota making an effort to shoot from long range, Malik Beasley thrived, shooting 5-for-8 on 3-pointers and scoring 26 points on the night.

Karl-Anthony Towns also benefitted from Finch's offensive approach, which vowed to make him the center point. Towns scored 26 points with 11 assists and eight rebounds on the night and helped Minnesota score a season-high 36 points in the first quarter.

The Timberwolves hung with the Bucks for a majority of the first half, but Milwaukee pulled away with a 21-5 run to take a 79-62 lead into halftime.
Things didn't change in the second half as the Bucks shot 47.3 percent on 3-point attempts. Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 37 points with eight rebounds and eight assists and Bryn Forbes scored 23 points off the bench as the Bucks cruised to victory.
The Timberwolves fell to 7-25 with the loss and will travel to face the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night.
