ESPN to feature Timberwolves in its next 'All-Access' coverage
ESPN announced Friday the Timberwolves will be the focus of the fifth installment of its "All-Access" series.
The broadcaster will document the Western Conference-leading Timberwolves through unprecedented access leading up to and on the day of the February 23 game against the Milwaukee Bucks at Target Center.
The coverage plan includes Stephen A. Smith co-hosting First Take on site with Smith also appearing throughout the day on SportsCenter, Get Up, NBA Today, Pardon the Interruption and NBA Countdown.
Several Wolves players and coaches will be featured in interviews throughout the day across multiple different shows. The full list of interviews is below:
- Karl-Anthony Towns on First Take
- Anthony Edwards sit-down interview with Malika Andrews
- Naz Reid on SportsCenter
ESPN will also air a special "Day in the Life" feature with Towns and a film session with Wolves center Rudy Gobert.
During the game itself head coach Chris Finch will be mic'd up and cameras will be in the Wolves locker room during pregame, halftime and postgame. ESPN will have "All-Access Practice" footage as well.
ESPN will broadcast the game with tip-off set for 9 p.m. at Target Center. Mark Jones, Richard Jefferson and Katie George will call the game.
The Wolves are the fifth team to be featured in the "All-Access" series following the Boston Celtics, Memphis Grizzlies, Toronto Raptors and Philadelphia 76ers.
