Ja Rule places 30-year curse on the Timberwolves
Ja Rule performed what is arguably the worst halftime show of all time on Saturday night, and he's pretty sensitive about it.
The rapper's halftime set at the Milwaukee Bucks-Timberwolves game in Wisconsin was beset with sound problems, and by the time it got underway there was only three-and-a-half minutes of halftime left.
In fact there were even Bucks players out doing their warmups while he was performing before a completely uninterested crowd.
You can see some footage of the performance at the bottom of the page, but what followed was particularly pertinent to Wolves fans, after the Timberwolves' official Twitter account poked fun at Ja Rule.
"We too were hustled, scammed, bamboozled, hood winked, lead astray!!!" said the Wolves, a reference to Ja Rule's explanation for his involvement in the Fyre Fest debacle that quickly became a meme last month.
Ja Rule, in response, issued what we can only assume is some kind of fairytale curse on the Minnesotans, saying they are doomed to be without a championship for 30 years.
Ha! Joke's on him, the Wolves were ALREADY doomed to be without a championship for 30 years.
He also suggested that the Wolves will lose Karl-Anthony Towns, which let's be fair, would be a serious bummer, except he just signed a 5-year, $190 million contract extension in September.
As such, forgive us, Ja Rule, if Wolves fans don't lose any sleep over your threats.
