A fight between Karl-Anthony Towns and Joel Embiid has resulted in both players receiving a two-game suspension.

The NBA announced the penalties against both players for their role in a brawl in Philadelphia's 117-95 victory over the Timberwolves Wednesday night in Philadelphia.

The fight resulted in both players being ejected from the game, with the bad blood spilling onto social media overnight as Embiid and Towns traded jabs on Instagram and Twitter.

Pending any appeal, Towns will miss Saturday's game at the Washington Wizards and Monday's contest at Target Center against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Towns is eligible to return from suspension to play in Minnesota's road game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday, Nov. 6.
