He's also clearly mending finger and wrist issues.

The long grind of the NBA season has apparently left Karl-Anthony Towns pretty beat up.

According to ESPN's Ramona Shelburne, Towns underwent stem cell treatments and platelet-rich injections in multiple areas on Friday.

Shelburne's report also stated that towns had been dealing with pain in both knees, had a cyst in his left ankle, a subluxated left wrist with ligament damage and an aggravated joint on the middle finger of his shooting hand, which preceded the treatments.

"This is why I've been MIA," Towns captioned an Instagram story that featured a screen shot from his girlfriend Jordyn Woods' Instagram that shows him looking like he just filmed a scene from M*A*S*H

"Nurse Woods On Duty," Woods captioned her post.

Towns' right leg is in a brace, his lower left leg is in a compression sleeve, his left wrist is in a brace and he even has a bandage on his right middle finger. Oh, and there's a crutch leaning against the wall beside him.

The Timberwolves haven't announced any offseason procedures for Towns, but he's clearly wearing a knee brace on his right side that is commonly used after knee procedures.

Towns has been dealing with a wrist issue for years since he dislocated his left wrist in 2020. But KSTP's Darren Wolfson reports that Towns had some "maintenance things" to clean up after a long seas.

Bring Me The Sports has reached out to the Timberwolves for comment.
