Report: D'Angelo Russell to return Monday vs. Kings
The Timberwolves guard has missed 26 games due to knee surgery.

According to Stadium's Shams Charania, Minnesota Timberwolves guard D'Angelo Russell is expected to return to the lineup on Monday night against the Sacramento Kings.
Russell hasn't played since Feb. 8 and has missed 26 games after undergoing knee surgery in early February. Prior to the injury, Russell averaged 19.3 points, 5.1 assists and 2.6 rebounds per game in 20 games for the Timberwolves this season.
Russell's return will mark a rare occurrence for the Timberwolves as he'll play beside Karl-Anthony Towns. The TImberwolves' stars have played just five games together since Russell was acquired in Feb. 2020.
Russell's return should add intrigue for the Timberwolves, who own the NBA's worst record at 12-38.
