Rudy Gobert had an out-of-body experience on Wednesday as he made a 3-pointer in a real basketball game. Gobert hitting a 3 is surprising enough, but his hilarious comment after the game is what's catching attention a day later.

"Tonight, I feel like I lost my virginity," Gobert said, according to the French-to-English translation from Google. He hit the 3 while playing for France in a FIBA World Cup exhibition game against Montenegro.

Over the past 10 seasons, Gobert has more points (8,531) without hitting a 3-pointer than anyone in the NBA, according to StatMuse. Gobert has 10 years of experience in the NBA and he's missed all 14 of his 3-point attempts.

Gobert simply doesn't shoot 3s in the NBA because it's not part of his game. But the big man can knock them down, as evidenced by this practice video recorded on July 31.

Gobert and the French national team have exhibition games upcoming against Venezuela, Lithuania (twice), Japan and Australia before facing Canada on Aug. 25 in their World Cup opener.
