Timberwolves second-round pick Jaylen Clark said Thursday that he's "going to be on a two-way contract."

Clark, the 2023 Naismith Defensive Player of the Year, was drafted with the 53rd pick in June's NBA Draft.

"I'm going to be on a two-way contract, I'm pretty sure," Clark said in a video posted to his personal YouTube channel. "First year I'll be on a two-way, hopefully get converted and stuff like that."

Clark tore his Achilles in his final regular season game for UCLA in the 2022-23 season. The 21-year-old guard averaged 13 points, 2.6 steals and 6 rebounds per game for the Bruins in his final season.
