Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards put on a show, scoring a game-high 34 points and unleashing a two-handed slam in the first quarter of a 99-91 exhibition victory against Germany on Sunday morning.

The slam came with just over four minutes to play in the first quarter when Mikal Bridges of the Brooklyn Nets brought the ball across midcourt and fed Edwards in the paint. Upon receiving the ball, Edwards gathered himself and lept with both feet to deliver a thunderous dunk.

Edwards finished the game with 34 points, shooting 11-for-21 from the floor (4-for-8 on 3-pointers), grabbing six rebounds and dishing out two assists and a block to lead Team USA back from a 14-point deficit in the second half.

Edwards is one of seven Timberwolves to participate in this year's FIBA World Cup which begins on Friday. Naz Reid is teammates with Edwards on the Team USA roster while Karl-Anthony Towns is playing for the Dominican Republic, Rudy Gobert is playing for France, Kyle Anderson is playing for China, Luka Garza is playing for Bosnia and Nickeil Alexander-Walker is playing for Canada.
