This might be the best call of the season.

As Karl-Anthony Towns went on a record-breaking first half for the Minnesota Timberwolves against the Hornets Monday evening, even the Hornets broadcast team got caught up in the insanity.

Towns racked up 44 points in the first two quarters – a Timberwolves record and the most ever in the play-by-play era for a single half – as he shot 14 of 17 from the field, with a 8-of-9 mark from 3-point range.

And among the three-pointers was captured below and is quickly going viral, with Hornets play-by-play commentator Eric Collins absolutely losing it as he announced for Bally Sports South.

As KAT prepares to shoot from way behind the three-point line, Collins yells "NOOOO!" which quickly becomes a scream as the ball hits the net.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME??" he then yells.

The Timberwolves have an excellent play-by-play caller in Michael Grady for Bally Sports North, but if Eric Collins wants to sub in sometimes, we wouldn't object.
