Three solo homers and a solid pitching performance were just enough for the Twins to bet the Diamondbacks 3-2 Friday night in Minneapolis.

Jorge Polanco, Max Kepler and Michael A. Taylor each hit solo homers for the Twins. Polanco went deep in the third inning, Kepler homered in the sixth and Taylor hit the go-ahead homer in the seventh.

All the while, Bailey Ober allowed two runs on six hits in five innings before turning the ball over to the bullpen for the last four innings. Dylan Floro pitched a scoreless sixth, Caleb Thielbar got the next four outs before Emilio Pagan finished the eighth and then Jhoan Duran earned the save in the ninth.

The win puts the Twins at 57-54, two-and-a-half games ahead of the Guardians for first place in the AL Central.
