The Minnesota Twins picked up another victory on Sunday afternoon as they came from behind to defeat the Kansas City Royals by a score of 4-2.

The Twins started off the day with Randy Dobnak on the mound, but he ran into trouble early. The right-hander served up a solo home run to Hunter Dozier in the first inning and another solo homer to Alex Gordon in the second to put the Twins into a 2-0 hole.

Minnesota fought its way back in the bottom of the third when Jorge Polanco drove in Alex Avila with an RBI groundout, but the big blast came in the bottom of the fifth when Max Kepler gave the Twins the lead with his sixth home run of the season.

After the two-run shot gave the Twins a 3-2 lead, the Royals mounted a rally against Dobnak in the sixth, but was snuffed out on a diving catch by Eddie Rosario and a double play to help get Tyler Clippard out of the jam.

The Twins added a run on a squeeze play in the seventh and the Twins bullpen led by Sergio Romo helped close out the win to improve to 14-8 on the season.

The Twins will close out its four-game set with the Royals on Monday night with a 7:10 p.m. first pitch at Target Field.
