Report: Dan Gladden to scale back Twins radio duties
In another shift in the Twins' broadcasts, Dan Gladden is reportedly scaling back his radio broadcast duties.
Gladden, who has been on the Twins radio broadcasts for the past 24 seasons, will be in the booth for just 100 games this season, according to the Star Tribune's Phil Miller.
Former Twins manager Paul Molitor has been reportedly hired to fill in for at least 36 games with former Twins closer Glen Perkins and others to handle other games.
It marks a season of change for the Twins radio broadcasts, which will air on 830 WCCO-AM and 102.9FM The Wolf for the upcoming season.
Gladden had paired with Cory Provus on the radio broadcast since 2011, but it was announced in December that Provus would be replacing Dick Bremer as the play-by-play caller for the Twins TV broadcasts.
Kris Atteberry will be replacing Provus as the team's lead radio play-by-play commentator.
The Twins TV broadcaster for the 2024 season has yet to be determined amid the ongoing woes of Diamond Sports Group, the owner of Bally Sports North.
