Twins schedule revealed for 60-game 2020 season
The Minnesota Twins unveiled their 2020 season schedule on Tuesday night with the 60-game slate opening July 24 in Chicago against the White Sox.
This year's slate will have a different flair as the Twins will only face teams from the American League Central and National League Central divisions. With that, the Twins' first interleague game will be their home opener at Target Field, when they host the St. Louis Cardinals on July 28.
Minnesota will also play 12 of its final 15 games against AL Central opponents and wrap up the regular season with a three-game series at home against the Cincinnati Reds. The Twins will also have one preseason tuneup against the Chicago Cubs on July 22 at Wrigley Field.
While fans are not going to be allowed into stadiums due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all 60 games on the schedule will be televised on FSN North with two games against Cleveland on July 30 and September 12 on FOX.
