Video: The entire 1985 All-Star Game at the Metrodome
The first thing you'll hear after hitting the play button on the video below is the voice of Bob Casey, the longtime public address announcer for the Minnesota Twins.
The next voices you'll hear are those of a then 33-year-old Bob Costas and the legendary Vin Scully, who to this day calls Dodgers games.
According to the Pioneer Press, the 1985 All-Star Game at the Metrodome included future Twins Tom Herr, Jeff Reardon, Dave Winfield, Jack Morris and Paul Molitor, as well as ex-Twins Bert Blyleven (he returned for a second stint with the Twins later in his career), Graig Nettles and Gary Ward.
The National League's honorary captain for the game was former Dodgers ace Sandy Koufax. For the American League, the honorary captain was Minnesota's all-time home run leader Harmon Killebrew.
The National League won the game, 6-1, but we won't spill any more of the beans... see it for yourself!
