Watch: Twins' Trevor Larnach launches massive homer over batter's eye

Trevor Laranach appears to be in midseason form as the Minnesota Twins outfielder launched a massive home run over the batter's eye during Saturday's spring training game against the Atlanta Braves.
Larnach's blast came in the bottom of the second inning when he took a fastball from Kyle Wright and smashed it to dead center field to put the Twins on the board.
That was quite the Lar-knock!

While Statcast could not calculate how far Larnach's homer traveled, long bombs are nothing new for the Twins' 2018 first-round pick, who placed in the 85th percentile in max exit velocity in 2022 and in the 97th percentile in 2021.
The 26-year-old also hit .231/.306/.406 with five homers and 18 RBI in 51 games last season but was hitting .299/.375/.516 with three homers in 32 games prior to June 1.
Ability hasn't been a question for Larnach as much as it has been staying on the field. Larnach underwent surgery on June 27 to repair a core muscle injury and suffered a setback as he tried to return later in the year.
Larnach appears to be a lock to be in Minnesota's Opening Day lineup March 30 at Kansas City.
