Early signs point to a 4th-straight start for Case Keenum

Sam Bradford is practicing on Thursday, but Keenum remains the most likely starter.

Fans awaited Thursday morning with bated breath, hoping they would finally get some good news on the Vikings' injured quarterback Sam Bradford.

And Mike Zimmer just confirmed that Bradford is practicing on Thursday and will play against the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football "if he's ready."

While this gives fans hope, the signs still point to backup QB Case Keenum playing at Soldier Field.

In the NFL, generally only starting quarterbacks will speak to the media during mid-week practices.

For the fourth straight week and on Thursday morning, the quarterback to meet the media was Case Keenum, not Sam Bradford.

Given that this week's game is happening on Monday night rather than Sunday, the usual Wednesday quarterback press conference gets pushed back a day to Thursday.

Stay tuned as we will monitor this development and update any information regarding the Vikings starting QB.

They enter week five with a 2-2 record.
