Each NFL team has its own questions during training camp but the Green Bay Packers might have the biggest as Jordan Love tries to replace Aaron Rodgers.

With Love's performance under the microscope, CBS Sports's Adam Schein wasn't shy in telling everyone how he felt about the former first-round pick, only to spark a furious response from former Minnesota Gophers and current Packers linebacker De'Vondre Campbell, who rushed to the aid of his quarterback.

The drama began with a report from The Athletic's Matthew Schneidman, who said that the Packers' offense has been struggling during training camp. With the Packers having to do up-downs after practice after another rough effort, Love admitted that things aren't going smoothly over at Ray Nitschke Field.

“It was very frustrating,” Love said in the report. “I think we’re all pretty tired of it. Kudos to the defense, but obviously, it’s disappointing as an offense collectively as a whole. It’s definitely an area that we need to step up and figure out how we can turn that thing around.”

That was enough for Schein to pounce, who sounded off on Love during Friday's episode of his show Time to Schein.

"I loathe Love ... I despise Love," Schein began. "I mean, everyone looks great during preseason practices apparently for Jordan Love, who by his own admission his struggled ... I mean, this is a flat-out debacle. It's also predictable because Jordan Love can't play football. Simple as that."

Schein went on to mention that the Packers defense has called out the offense multiple times and the defense has "defeated" the offense in five of six padded practices during the first week of training camp, which makes the Packers long for the days of Rodgers under center.

"Jordan Love can't do a damn thing," Schein continued. "This is going to be a predictable disaster with Jordan Love in Green Bay."

That was enough for Campbell who fired his own barrage of insults toward Schein on Twitter.

A first-round pick in the 2020 draft, Love has spent three years sitting behind Rodgers in Green Bay.

In his lone start in 2021, Love completed 19-of-34 passes for 190 yards, a touchdown and an interception in a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs but completed 14-of-21 passes for 195 yards with a touchdown last season.

The Packers are hoping they've hit on their third straight quarterback after Rodgers successfully replaced Brett Favre, but for Vikings fans their hoping Schein's comments come to fruition this season.
