Kirk Cousins is the ultimate football businessman.

Set to become a free agent on March 13, Cousins is nearing four months removed from his ruptured Achilles tendon and he's doing all the right things to show potential suitors that he's going to be 100% healthy well before the start of the 2024 NFL season.

Whether he just wanted to share his progress or is subtly showing the world that he's doing well, Cousins released a video Monday of him practicing dropbacks and throwing footballs on an indoor tennis court.

"Almost 4 months in now," Cousins wrote, "encouraged by the progress!"

It's hard to ignore the fact that Cousins released the video on the opening day of the NFL Scouting Combine, which is where teams gather in Indianapolis to essentially set the stage for the legal tampering period that begins March 11.

Or as Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio believes, it's the place where illegal tampering is widespread as teams and agents allegedly set the groundwork for looming decisions.
