Josh Dobbs needed help finding Vikings' locker room before first home start
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Josh Dobbs will make his first home start against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday afternoon but in order to do so, he'll have to find the Vikings locker room at U.S. Bank Stadium.
This proved to be difficult as FOX cameras spotted Dobbs walking out of an elevator with the assistance of a stadium worker presumably pointing him in the direction of the locker room prior to Sunday's game.
Dobbs has played one previous game at U.S. Bank Stadium but that was as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers in a game the Vikings won 36-28 on Dec. 9, 2021. While Dobbs may not be familiar with the layout of his new home stadium, it's another chapter of his eventful 2023 season.
Dobbs began the year as a member of the Cleveland Browns before being traded to the Arizona Cardinals at the end of training camp. Dobbs went on to start eight games for Arizona before he was traded to the Vikings on Oct. 31, and then played in relief of Jaren Hall, throwing for 158 yards and two touchdowns while running for 66 yards and a touchdown in last week's win over the Atlanta Falcons.
Now that Dobbs has found the home locker room, Vikings fans hope he'll get comfortable doing other things at U.S. Bank Stadium, including picking up his first home victory against the Saints on Sunday.
