Justin Jefferson has officially joined the Madden 99 Club.

EA Sports and Madden NFL 24 announced Monday that Jefferson is the newest member of the elite club, which gives him a 99 overall rating in the soon-to-be-released video game. A 99 is the top rating a player can receive in the game.

Madden NFL 99 was the first version of the game to feature players with 99 ratings.

Jefferson is the fourth player in Vikings history with a 99 overall rating, joining Hall of Fame left guard Randall McDaniel, who was 99 overall in Madden NFL 99, former defensive end Jared Allen, who was a 99 overall in Madden NFL 11 after his 22-sack season in 2011, and Adrian Peterson, who received a 99 overall rating in Madden NFL 25 following his 2,000-yard rushing season in 2012.

"I think my Madden 24 overall rating should be 99," Jefferson says in the video released by EA Sports on Monday.

Keith Smith of the Atlanta Falcons describes Jefferson in the video as "bouncy," while Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown described him as "smooth" with "long arms" and "long limbs."

"I just like the way he plays. He's fast. I love that style," Seahawks rookie running back Zach Charbonnet said.

"The guy takes care of his business on the field and off the field," said Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims.
