Minnesota may have found a replacement for Dalvin Tomlinson. On Friday, the Vikings announced that longtime Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Dean Lowry has signed.

Multiple reports say it' a two-year deal worth $8.5 million. Lowry had a bit of a down season in 2022 but was very good in 2021 when he produced 42 quarterback pressures and had five sacks.

The Vikings lost Tomlinson in free agency to the Cleveland Browns.

Lowry has started 80 games since being drafted in the fourth round out of Northwestern by the Packers in 2016. In 111 career games, he has 252 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, 15.5 sacks, 34 quarterback hits and four fumble recoveries.
