Minnesota Vikings announce a raft of roster cuts

The Vikings have to cut their roster to 53 by 3 p.m. on Tuesday.

The Minnesota Vikings continue to work on getting their roster down to 53 ahead of Tuesday's 3p.m. deadline.

The Vikings started the process Sunday by cutting linebackers Tanner Vallejo and Wilson Huber. Minnesota also cut offensive lineman Jarrid Williams and traded offensive lineman Vederian Lowe to the Patriots for a 2024 6th-round pick.

Among those cut on Monday is Jordan Ta'amu, the quarterback who joined up with the Vikings last week following a season in the XFL.
