The Minnesota Vikings have broken the free agency seal by reportedly agreeing to terms with tight end Josh Oliver.

According to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, Oliver and the Vikings have agreed to a three-year deal worth $21 million, including $10.75 million guaranteed.

Oliver, a third-round pick (69th overall) by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2019, is known as a blocking tight end. He had 14 receptions for 146 yards and two touchdowns last season with the Baltimore Ravens.

With T.J. Hockenson the go-to receiving tight end on the roster, the Vikings now may have a decision to make on tight end Johnny Mundt. Mundt is a free agent in 2024 and carries a $1.23 million cap hit this season, according to OverThecap.

Mundt is 29 years old while Oliver is 25.

One way or another, the Vikings need to be cap compliant by Wednesday and they were an estimated $7 million over the cap on Monday, so more moves are certainly coming.

More to come.
