Reports: Vikings trade OL Vederian Lowe to the New England Patriots

The Vikings are getting a 6th-round pick in return.

The Minnesota Vikings have made a trade, sending offensive lineman Vederian Lowe to the New England Patriots.

Details of the trade emerging Sunday evening, with the Patriots reportedly sending a 6th-round pick to the Vikings for Lowe, whom the Vikings drafted in the 6th round of the 2022 draft.

The 24-year-old appeared in four games in his rookie season with the Vikings on special teams, and was listed as second on the Vikings' 2023 depth chart at left tackle behind Christian Darrisaw.

The trade comes as the Vikings cut their roster down to 53 players ahead of the 3 p.m. Tuesday deadline.
