Report: Dalvin Cook may have torn his ACL; MRI is set for Monday

The Vikings said Cook wil undergo an MRI on Monday morning.

Following Minnesota's loss to the Lions on Sunday, Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero of NFL.com reported the initial diagnoses for injured running back Dalvin Cook, "is a nearly complete ACL tear."

Head coach Mike Zimmer told reporters after the game, that they fear it is an ACL injury and that he'll undergo an MRI on Monday morning.

A video of the injury is below, where you can see Cook grab towards his left knee after planting it to juke a defender.

Before leaving the game, Cook had 13 carries for 66 yards and a touchdown. The rookie entered play on Sunday with the second most rushing yards in the league.

If Cook's season is indeed over, Minnesota will lean on Latavius Murray and Jerick McKinnon in the backfield.
