It's been seven months of staring at "TBD" but we finally know when the Vikings and Bengals will play: Saturday, Dec. 16.

It'll be the 12 p.m. CT game in a Saturday tripleheader, followed by the Steelers and Colts at 3:30 p.m. CT and the Broncos against the Lions at 7:15 p.m. CT.

The NFL waited until now to pick the three games for the Saturday tripleheader. The other games that were considered were the Bears against the Browns and the Falcons versus the Panthers. Both of those games will start at noon on Sunday, Dec. 17.

The Saturday kickoff means the Vikings will be on just six days rest after the play the Vegas Raiders on Dec. 10. But it also gives them eight days rest ahead of their showdown with the Lions on Dec. 24.

Detroit will be in the same boat with games on Dec. 10, 17 and 24.
