The Minnesota Vikings pulled off a wild 28-27 victory over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday and did so without the services of Adam Thielen. With the Vikings star receiver unable to play or even be in the stadium after being placed on the COVID-19/reserve list, Thielen spent his day watching the game on TV.

As it turns out, Thielen is just like the rest of us.

In a game that featured several ups and downs, Thielen's wife Caitlyn posted video of her husband taking in the final moments of the victory on her Instagram story.

Decked out in a hoodie and gym shorts, Thielen screamed "What's the flag for?" repeatedly after a penalty was called on a long reception by Kyle Rudolph. After the flag was picked up, the Vikings scored the go-ahead touchdown which sent Thielen jumping across his living room in celebration.

As many Vikings games do, there was another turn as the Panthers drove down the field to set up a game-winning field goal attempt. As Joey Slye sent his kick into Wisconsin, Thielen again jumped across his living room screaming "You've got to be kidding me!" while reaching for his cell phone to presumably text everyone he knows.

Such a development isn't surprising for someone who grew up a lifelong Vikings fan in Detroit Lakes, but there's a good chance you already knew that.

What we also know is that Thielen appears to be in good health and will likely return to the lineup as the Vikings will host the Jacksonville Jaguars next Sunday.
