Watch: Eagles fans harass Vikings fans in Philadelphia
We've all heard the horror stories of Vikings fans attending a Vikings-Eagles game in Philadelphia. The latest examples were recorded on video before Thursday night's primetime matchup between the NFC foes, and they're as obnoxious as you can imagine.
Among the Vikings fans harassed by Eagles fans while walking through tailgates to Lincoln Financial Field was former Minnesota television sports anchor Eric Perkins. He and a group of Vikings fans made the walk through boos and chants of "a******."
The same type of harassment and taunting was experienced by other Vikings fans. Check out this video (NSFW).
This is normal behavior in Philly. In fact, it was tame compared to the stories Vikings fans told after the 2018 NFC Championship Game between the Vikings and Eagles.
That January 2018 day featured Eagles fans carrying around a sign saying "F*** Millie," referring to then 99-year-old Vikings fan Millie Wall, who died in 2021 at the age of 102. Again, the video below is NSFW.
Other fans were hit with full beers that were thrown by Eagles fans.
