Watch: Vikings' Justin Jefferson surprises mom with new car for Christmas
This Christmas was a different one for many families and star receiver Justin Jefferson was no exception. Winding down his rookie season with a trip to New Orleans, Jefferson gave his parents a FaceTime call on Christmas Eve that ended with a brand new Range Rover being parked in the driveway.
In a video on his Instagram account, Jefferson is talking to his parents about how much they've done for him. As he continued, Jefferson thanked his parents before telling them to look to their right to see a white Range Rover complete with a bow.
Although it's surprising that Jefferson's mom didn't break out "The Griddy" upon the sight of her new car, it was just another highlight in a career that's been full of them so far for the Vikings' star receiver.
Jefferson started as a two-star recruit before working his way into becoming a superstar at LSU.
The Vikings took Jefferson with the 22nd overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and he's taken the league by storm, becoming the fifth rookie receiver in the past 20 years to make the Pro Bowl.
