Fans, Evander Kane's ex-wife send money to Ryan Hartman for middle finger fine
Minnesota Wild center Ryan Hartman said his fine for flipping off Evander Kane was "well worth it." As it turns out, his middle finger not only sent a message to Kane, but it has fueled a public movement.
After news spread that Hartman was fined $4,250 for his actions during the Wild's win on Tuesday night, fans have opened the Venmo app and flooded @Ryanhartman24 with donations and messages of encouragement.
It's one thing to see Wild fans band together after Kane cross-checked Kirill Kaprizov. It's another to see Kane's ex-wife contribute to the fund.
Anna Kane accused her husband of domestic abuse in Sept. 2021. Although the charges were dropped and Evander Kane was granted custody of their daughter, Anna posted a video of Evander allegedly pointing a loaded gun at her in Dec. 2021.
This adds to a slew of Kane's legal troubles, which have included faking a COVID vaccination card and an allegation of betting on his own games.
In case you were wondering, Hartman's account appears to be confirmed as last year it shows payments received from Kevin Fiala and Kyle Rau.
It's unclear how much money Hartman has received to pay his fine but there's a good chance that $4,250 has been covered.
