As soon as the puck dropped in Philadelphia, so did the gloves.

Wild winger Pat Maroon and Flyers winger Nic Deslauriers came to blows before the opening faceoff was even won.

After locking up and throwing a series of punches back and forth, Deslauriers eventually got the takedown of Maroon.

Minnesota are off to a 3-2-1 start this season which has them sitting third in the Central Division.

The Wild opened their three-game east coast road trip Thursday night against the Flyers.
