Wild, Marcus Foligno agree to four-year extension
Foligno produced 21 points, seven goals and 14 assists, in 65 games in the 2022-23 season
The Minnesota Wild and winger Marcus Foligno have agreed to a four-year, $16 million contract, marking the Wild’s second extension of the day.
The 32-year-old is heading into his seventh season with the Wild. In the 2022-23 season Foligno produced 21 points, seven goals and 14 assists, in 65 games.
Since joining the Wild in an offseason trade in 2017, Foligno has scored 67 goals and registered 89 assists for Minnesota. Folingno spent six years with Sabres after Buffalo drafted him in the fourth round of the 2009 NHL Draft.
It comes after the Wild announced it had agreed a two-year extension with 36-year-old Mats Zuccarello on Friday morning.
