He's dealing with some serious roster turnover on both sides of the ball, thanks to outgoing and incoming movement via the transfer portal.

Nic Scourton: The Big Ten's leader in sacks, ranked as the No. 1 edge rusher in this transfer class, departed Purdue for the Aggies in 2024.

Dezz Ricks: Ranked as the No. 3 cornerback and No. 19 overall transfer player originally committed to Alabama before making the switch.

Cyrus Allen: The former Louisiana Tech wide receiver was ranked as the No. 16 transfer player at his position before signing with A&M this offseason.

Cashius Howell: The No. 11 edge rusher and No. 89 overall transfer spurned Bowling Green for a chance to play on Texas A&M's defensive line.

Will Lee: Ranked as the No. 11 cornerback in the transfer cycle, the former Kansas State player looks to compete in the Aggies' secondary.

Marcus Ratcliffe: The No. 6 ranked transfer safety and No. 120 overall player left San Diego State for the Aggies this offseason.

Donovan Saunders: The former Cal Poly defensive back was ranked as the No. 13 transfer cornerback in this cycle.

What Texas A&M lost in 2024

Walter Nolen: The former five-star recruit, ranked No. 1 among transfer defensive linemen and the No. 3 overall transfer player, left the Aggies for Ole Miss, leaving a big hole in this front seven rotation.

Evan Stewart: Another elite five-star prospect, ranked as the No. 2 transfer wide receiver and No. 5 overall transfer player, departed for Oregon this offseason.

Jake Johnson: A former four-star prospect and the No. 4 transfer tight end this offseason departs the Aggies for North Carolina.

LT Overton: Another loss on the defensive line, this one ranked at No. 3 nationally, departing for Alabama this season.

Fadil Diggs: The No. 7 edge rusher in the transfer class heads to Syracuse.

Raymond Cottrell: Sitting at No. 14 among transfer wide receivers and No. 69 overall but now heading to Kentucky for 2024.

Jardin Gilbert: The No. 4 ranked transfer safety and top-75 overall prospect is heading to LSU for the coming season.

Max Johnson: The No. 40 transfer quarterback is heading to North Carolina with his brother, the Ags' former tight end.
