Texas vs. Oklahoma State: Big 12 Championship Game odds, predictions
In its last-ever season as members of the Big 12 Conference before heading off to the greener pastures of the SEC this summer, the Texas Longhorns will get one more chance to call themselves the champions of the league in a matchup against Oklahoma State with much more than just this title on the line. Sitting at one loss and boasting a win over Alabama, the Longhorns can move into the College Football Playoff conversation with a win here, and some other chaos around the country.

Early computer predictions
Most of the simulations predictably expect the Longhorns to handle things.
That includes the College Football Power Index, a computer prediction model that uses data points from both teams to simulate games 20,000 times and pick winners.
So far, the index projects Texas to win the game in 88.1 percent of its simulations, while Oklahoma State is expected to win in the remaining 11.9 percent of sims.
By taking each team's projected scoring margin into account, the computer predicts that Texas will defeat Oklahoma State by 16 points, enough to cover the line on the SI book.
