While a quarterback may not go No. 1 overall in the 2022 NFL Draft, it's still far and away the most important position in football, college or pro.

And this year's crop of signal callers includes a few potentially elite options for franchises to choose from. Even if most of them won't be going in the first round.

Weaknesses: Needs a smoother delivery, avoids tighter coverage throws, lacks consistency, will have to get the ball out faster against speedy corners, not typical NFL size, not a big playmaker

Weaknesses: Perhaps still too raw and a work in progress, occasionally inconsistent timing his passes, rushes on his deep throws, not as accurate when on the move

Weaknesses: Physical running style can cause injury concern, needs to get more poised when on the move, has to get the ball out faster, takes too many chances
