Friday night football returns to campus this week as the Week 3 college football schedule kicks off today with three games on the docket, including a non-conference matchup in the Power Five between teams in the Big Ten and ACC in a preview of the regular slate of games ready to get in action on Saturday.

Virginia at Maryland

Line: Maryland -14.5

Virginia: The Cavaliers come in at 0-2 with losses to Tennessee and at home to James Madison and, although they won 5 of the last 8 against Big Ten opposition, have also lost their last two straight to the Terrapins.
Maryland: Mike Locksley's team has won 10 straight against non-conference teams and three straight against the ACC. Taulia Tagovailoa is one of the league's premier quarterback talents and now he has help from tailback Roman Hemby, who had 217 all-purpose yards a week ago.
Army at UTSA

Army: Expect the Black Knights to pick up where they left off last week behind a powerful rushing effort that put up 525 total yards against Delaware State, including a 287 rushing yard performance that posted 6.7 yards per carry on average.
UTSA: Senior quarterback Frank Harris threw for 7,236 yards and 59 touchdowns in his Roadrunner career but is a game-time decision in this one.. His leading target through two games this season is Joshua Cephus, who has 15 grabs for 161 yards and a score.
Utah State at Air Force

Line: Air Force -9

Utah State: After taking a loss to Iowa in the season opener, the Aggies returned home and walloped Idaho State in a 78-28 thrashing in which the team ran for 380 yards and had four different ball carriers rushing for touchdowns in the game.
Air Force: It all begins on the ground for the Falcons, who average 309 rushing yards per game so far and completed just one pass in a game against Sam Houston. Air Force is also pretty solid against the run, keeping opponents to 39.5 yards per game on the ground.
