College football schedule: Early 2023 games, TV networks announced
As the calendar turns to summer, it's that time of year when the TV networks sit down to confirm the kickoff times and network information for many of the more important early games on the 2023 college football schedule to come.
This will be a historic season of sorts, with major movement on the conference realignment front, with more apparently to come, and the final time we'll see a four-team College Football Playoff before the postseason expands to 12 teams next year.
This year will find Texas and Oklahoma playing their final seasons as members of the Big 12 before moving onto the SEC next fall, ditto for USC and UCLA as those landmark programs prepare to jump ship from the Pac-12 to the Big Ten in 2024, a move that will pile up the air miles, but also make billions for the conference over the next several years.
Right now, the SEC is set to move over the ESPN and ABC permanently next season while the Big Ten will get some choice air time on NBC, CBS, and Fox this fall.
Here are the dates and networks that College Football HQ knows about so far.
